Thank you so much to the wonderful #YEGBOSSBABES who attended our first ever event. We are so proud of our local female entrepreneur community and it truly was a testimate to that with meeting such dynamic and intelligent attendees.
Our beautiful local restaurant partner, Town Square Brewing, was the perfect location for us and kept the beers, wine and pizza flowing throughout the evening. Our evening started at 7PM and we were walking out the door around 10:45PM (an hour and a half later than we expected)! The conversation flowed so easy and people started to break into groups filling tables, walking around to mingle and providing feedback for us on our topic charts that were set up around the restaurant.

What we got out of our feedback was three main topics to cover in the coming events - which, we expect to lead into more topics for us to learn from one another and share stories about. However, the strongest point of feedback women are looking for through YEGBOSSBABES is a SUPPORTIVE- not competitive- community where we can share experiences, learn beside each other and from each other, and to create new friendships!

We are committed to hosting a mixer every season. With that being said, we are working on details for our Winter Mixer for the new year as we speak! We encourage Fall Mixer attendees and new attendees to join in on the next mixer!

Kirsten has owned her business for 10 years now and has become best known for her Boudoir work. On top of her business, Kirsten also works full time.
Her plate seems full, but what she likes most is being creative and innovative while supporting other fellow boss babes along the way.
“I saw a need for a sort of, for lack-of-a-better-word, support group for local women who own their own small businesses in the Edmonton area. Over the past five years, I have met some amazing women who are juggling it all on top of starting, growing, and maintaining their own small businesses and I have always felt a special bond with them. They totally get the struggles and accomplishments we all go through and I have learned so much from these women."
“All I want to do is meet more of them, share more insight, learn more from each other and beside each other while growing as an individual too. When women genuinely support other women, it is amazing what can happen. To get an opportunity to meet like minded female entrepreneurs will be empowering and I know that we can all learn so much from one another. I am so excited to see the interest we have already been receiving from fellow YEG BOSS BABES and I cannot wait to see the impact this group will have for all women in the same shoes I am in.”

Amy has owned a operated a cleaning company in Leduc for over 10 years.
Last year Amy launched her line of all natural cleaning & household products called |PRETTY| clean, which is sold at markets and in retail stores across BC & Alberta.
In her little spare time, she has lots of hobbies. Renovating her fixer upper, running her giant dogs, snuggling her bunnies, dirt biking, making music, and drinking lots of coffee & wine with the girls.
She had been wanting to start some kind of girl gang for a while, so when Kirsten brought up YEG BOSS BABES it was a super exciting opportunity! " I couldn't ask for a better group of women to do this with & we are really looking forward to meeting all YOU boss babes!"
