Guest Speakers

Felicia Michie

Felicia is a management consultant specializing in strategy and operations and a partner with National Growth Partners. Her passion is helping leaders, organizations, and boards overcome complex challenges that inhibit their growth potential. She holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Winnipeg and a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from Dalhousie University. In her governance roles, Felicia has brought her expertise to various boards, including Winnipeg Business for the Arts and HIV Edmonton, and she currently serves as the chair of YWCA Edmonton’s Rose Council. She is also an avid runner and horse rider.

Renée Chan

Renée Chan is the Senior Development Officer with YWCA Edmonton. She is an entrepreneur at heart and translates her experience and knowledge of building a business into building a community. Being able to help women and children live safe and healthy lives, and learn what they’re capable of, is what drives Renée to serve in the community.
