A Night of Connection, Creativity, and Holiday Cheer
When Jamie from Bougie Rougie reached out to chat about hosting a holiday event together, we knew right away it was going to be something special. Her boutique is vibrant, full of personality, and bursting with colour and sparkle—basically the perfect setting for a holiday gathering. We were thrilled to team up and bring Make & Mingle to life.
Held on November 24, this event was all about slowing down during the busy season to connect, create, and celebrate in community. It wasn’t just another networking event. It was a cozy evening filled with hands-on ornament-making, meaningful conversation, laughter, and of course—decadent desserts from The Art of Cake and Bliss Baked Goods to sweeten the experience.
Whether guests came solo or with a friend, everyone left with something memorable:

We loved seeing a mix of longtime members and new faces alike, all creating and sharing in a relaxed, playful space. It reminded us that networking doesn’t have to feel formal; it can look like laughing over glitter, swapping stories over cupcakes, and walking away with both new contacts and a creative spark.
